A young woman was slashed multiple times in the back in an unprovoked attack in Harlem, police said.
The assault happened April 25 around 8:10 p.m. at W. 135th St. and Amsterdam Ave., cops said.
The suspect snuck up behind the 21-year-old woman and slashed her three times in the back and shoulder before running off.
She was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside for her wounds. The suspect is still being sought.
Police on Thursday released a surveillance photo of the suspect wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a bright green design on the front.
