After two long years, Bachelor in Paradise is finally back and so are the ah-mazing intro videos. “How could we ask for more?” On season seven, there are around 40 Bachelor Nation singles looking for love on the beach in Mexico. (The Playa Escondida resort won’t even know what hit it.)
Guest host David Spade kicked off the matchmaking and gossiping with the guys and gals on the sand, with newly crowned master of ceremonies Wells Adams. But, the drinks aren’t the only thing that’s flowing this season—there’s also plenty of drama, tears, and romance.
Whether you’re a long-time Paradise viewer or this is your first trip to the shore, there’s plenty of time to catch up on what’s been going down. Week one was all about meet-and-greets and makeouts, but week two brought the first eliminations. Now that the first rose ceremony has officially taken place, there are new couplessnuggling up on the beach and somber singles back at home.
Here are all of the contestants who went home on Bachelor in Paradise so far this season:
Week 2:
This week, the men gave out roses to the ladies—with a shocking self-elimination twist.
Victoria Paul
Victoria, 28, seemed to be on Paradise for the right reasons, until some of the other contestants noticed something was a little off. After forgetting “the guy she was vibing with” James Bonsall’s name (more than once), a few of the others got to talking about Victoria’s maybe boyfriend back home in Alexandria, Louisiana.
When the other contestants confronted her, Victoria decided to self-eliminate. While she didn’t admit to having a secret beau outright, the nurse’s final confessional seemed pretty suspicious: “I realized I don’t have to search for what I already have at home,” she said.
Kelsey Weier
Kelsey arrived on the scene this season ready to redeem herself after #champagnegate and a not-so-happy ending on Peter’s Bachelor season. She didn’t inhale bubbly this time, but she didn’t stay long on the beach. After almost fainting during an intense moment in the rose ceremony, this 30-year-old nurse had no choice but to go home to Des Moines, Iowa.
Serena Chew
Serena C., 25, didn’t make the splash she was hoping for this season. (She did use some solid moves in her attempt to sway Aaron Clancy.) But, without a serious connection with any of her fellow contestants, this flight attendant jet-setted back home to San Francisco without a rose.
Victoria Larson
Surprisingly, the ~goddess energy~ wasn’t enough to keep Victoria in Mexico for very long. Her approach of waiting for men to come up to her didn’t go over so well with anyone, so this 28-year-old was sent home to Los Angeles, California.
David Spade
Yep, the first host also hopped in the van and said his farewells to the beach during week two. He’s just the first of many celeb hosts set to guide the beach guests along their journey to find love.
