A Cobb County, Georgia, man has given a new meaning to the phrase “ride or die” after he flashed a gun at drivers while rushing to his pregnant wife’s side on April 20.
As WSB-TV reports, Kristopher Mosley, 26, was driving along East-West Connector near Floyd Road around 7:30 p.m. that Saturday evening.
During this time, Mosley became frustrated with drivers while rushing to the hospital to meet his wife as she went into labor.
One of the drivers said:
“He was, like, tailgating me horribly on East-West trying to push me out of the way and then when he switched lanes he jumped right in front of me and hit his brakes and then drove off.”
WSB-TV reports that Mosley then pointed his Glock handgun at two women in the vehicle.
The women dialed 911. According to WSB-TV, the 911 call went as follows:
VICTIM: I mean, I’m shaking.
911 OPERATOR: No, I understand.
VICTIM: Because there was a laser on it.
911 OPERATOR: Listen, I’m going to get an officer to meet with you, OK?
Cobb County police said the eager father confessed to flashing his gun. However, he stated that the weapon was unloaded and that he was just anxious to get to his pregnant spouse.
A driver named Marvin Gandy expressed his opinion on the matter.
Gandy said:
“I understand your wife is trying to have a baby or something like that but pulling a gun on somebody trying to get there, that’s ignorant.”
Police charged Mosley with two counts of pointing a gun and allowed him to turn himself in on April 26.
Although he has refused to comment on the incident, he is currently out on bond.
