On Monday this week, a 34-year-old officer of the Orlando local department who was off-duty was arrested for allegedly breaking into his ex-fiancée’s apartment as she was with another man, a report said.
According to arrest records obtained by sources, Abu-Sound is accused of breaking into the house at about 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 22 while the victim was drinking wine in a bedroom with a coworker.
The victim told the man she was with to take cover in her closet, which Abu-Sound ran to and yelled, “Who’s there, who’s there?”
According to the affidavit that was filed, the victim told investigators she jumped on the officer’s back to stop him from opening the closet and felt a firearm on his waistband,.
Abu-Soud eventually came around and hugged the victim after she threatened to call 911 and began screaming for help, the report said.
The officer also hurled the victim’s phone and apartment key during the fracas, arrest records show.
The two ended their three-year relationship a month or two ago, the lady told police.
Ahmad was charged with armed burglary of a dwelling with a firearm, tampering with a witness, and domestic violence.
