A Las Vegas woman killed her own babies and was ready to sell their organs just hours later, the victims’ father told police.
The suspect, 26-year-old Amanda Sharp-Jefferson, was arrested Friday after her boyfriend found the bodies of their two infant daughters stacked on top of each other in a baby swing, according to an arrest report obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The girls, 1-year-old Rose and 2-month-old Lily, were pronounced dead at the scene and their mother was immediately taken into custody without incident, police said in a news release.
The local coroner’s office is still investigating what exactly caused their deaths, but Jaykwon Singleton believes his girlfriend drowned their children.

He told police that she “kept shushing him and at one point, made a statement that their organs were worth a lot of money,” authorities said.
Singleton also said the couple had been together since 2018 and had not had any issues until Sharp-Jefferson recently began “talking about the altar spirit world,” according to the arrest report cited by the Review-Journal.
In another bizarre statement, the woman reportedly told officers she did not have any children and did not know Singleton.
Sharp-Jefferson is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of open murder. She’s scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
