The Duchess Of Cambridge has done nothing but wow us with her wardrobe whilst on the royal tour in the Caribbean and her latest elegant look is no different.
Looking radiant as she touched down in Jamaica alongside Prince William, Kate sported a gorgeous yellow Roksanda dress in the same vivid hue as the Jamaican flag.
Showcasing her love of diplomatic dressing once again, her yellow bespoke frock featured a wrap-style top with a billowing a-line skirt.
The mother-of-three paired the statement number with delicate drop earrings by Sezane, a white clutch bag and a pair of Aquazzura white heels with gold stripe detailing, £605 here.
With her gorgeous tresses styled in a chic ponytail and her makeup boasting a natural, dewy glow, Kate wowed on-lookers as she embarked on the next section of her tour.
It’s a known tradition for a royal to represent the country they are visiting through their outfit choices and Kate has showcased this perfectly throughout her tour of the sunny Caribbean.
Kicking off their trip in Belize, The Duchess showed her respect by turning up in a gorgeous summer frock featuring the colours of the country’s flag.
Kate looked a vision in the smocked blue midi dress from Tory Burch which featured a bold, floral print and a stylish tiered design.
She teamed the dress with a pair of cork wedge sandals from Stuart Weitzman, a pair of blue statement earrings by Sezane and a fan-shaped clutch bag by Anya Hindmarch.
Perhaps she’s taken a leaf out of the fashion handbook of The Queen, who in the past wore a European Union outfit and yellow-trim hat reminiscent of the iconic flag.
Making a speech in parliament back in 2017, Her Majesty donned a yellow and blue floral dress with a blue overcoat and a matching blue hat with yellow flowers.
Whilst it’s likely that the monarch picked her outfit at random for the occasion, social media users believed otherwise – with many suggesting that she was honouring the EU flag with her wardrobe choice.
One user joked on Twitter: “Love the fact that Her Majesty delivered today’s Queen’s Speech wearing an EU hat.”
“Woah, anyone else notice the subliminal message in The Queen’s hat? #QueensSpeech,” another said
“The award for ‘Best Trolling Using a Hat’ goes to the #QueensSpeech,” a third wrote, while another claimed they loved Her Majesty’s “EU bonnet.”
Whilst The Queen’s flag-themed outfit made a statement, we think it’s safe to say that Kate might be giving her grandmother-in-law a run for her money in the fashion department.
