Back in 2011, Casey Anthony was acquitted for the murder of her 2-year-old daughter. Caylee died in 2008 in Orlando, Florida. During the trial, Casey’s team of defense lawyers blamed the now 32-year-old’s father, George, for killing the toddler. They said George hid Caylee’s body after she was drowned in his pool. Besides killing the baby, Casey’s attorneys also accused George, now 67, of sexually abusing Casey when she was a young girl.
Last year, George got into a horrible car crash and had become almost paralyzed. George accepted an invitation to share his side of the story on the Dr. OZ TV show in January. George, a former police officer, publicly forgave Casey’s lawyers for their tact in the case.
Now it seems Casey is ready to reconcile things with her father. She recently posted a photo of herself and George from the “good old days.” Then during an interview with Daily Mail TV, Casey said: “We can heal from everything. Better to do it together than apart.”
However, Casey was not going to let her father get off scot-free without admitted the horrible things he did.
She added, “(He) has to admit to things before he can heal. . . Until then he is not going to do anything but suffer.”
Casey is trying to move on with her life after a childhood of sexual abuse and the death of her daughter. She told Daily Mail TV that she wants to pose nude in Hustler magazine to jumpstart things.
“Well, you know full well that my nudes will fly off the shelf, even if it is soft p***.”
Hustler originally offered Casey $500,000 in 2011 for her to pose nude for the magazine’s pages. The owner of the magazine, Larry Flint, extended the offer himself. She refused back then but claims the offer is still on the table.
“It was wrong timing. I am in better shape now.”
George refused to speak to his daughter for eight years after her lawyers accused him of sexually assaulting her. But when he rolled his Toyota 4Runner over three times in Daytona Beach, Florida, he saw the light. The near-death experience in November 2018 made George reconsider his relationship with Casey. And in the interview with Dr. Oz, which he did while in a head brace alongside his wife, Casey.
George said:
“I forgive her, and that’s hard for me to say, but you know what, I need to be forgiven by her, my son and other family members or friends that I care so much about. Forgive me for what I’ve done. To all of our lives.”
In response, Casey ran an exclusive interview with Daily Mail TV.
“I will say that I will always love my dad. Hopefully, in time, he can heal. We can heal from everything. Better to do it together than apart. We’ll see. Time will tell.”
Dr. Oz for one hopes they will reunite despite the allegations against George. “I hope that one day George and Casey can make peace.”
