Catastrophic flooding in Middle Tennessee left at least eight dead and dozens missing Saturday as record-shattering rainfall washed away homes and rural roads, authorities said.Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis told news outlets more than 30 people have been reported missing.The Humphreys County town of McEwen, located about 50 miles west of Nashville, was pummeled with 17 inches of rain in less than a day, prompting water rescues, road closures, and communications disruptions. The Chattanooga man reportedly forged former President Barack Obama’s name on a handgun permit application, according to reports. He is accused of using ‘President Barack H. OKLAHOMA:  A routine traffic stop in Oklahoma last week saw a 65-year-old grandmother allegedly kick a police officer in the groin after she was pulled over for having a broken taillight. An inmate suspected in the death of a Tennessee prison officer escaped from prison on a tractor while working on the home grounds of the officer.
