A 5-year old boy was forced by his mother’s boyfriend to get out of the car in a rainy night, which got him into an accident. The boy was hit by another car. Bryan Starr, 35, said that he asked the boy leave the car because he was being unruly.
“what do you to this? What is the thought process when you ask a 5-year boy to get out of the car in the rainy night? It’s just breaking”. Starr, on -duty soldier was charged with murder because of his reckless disregard towards the safe ty of the boy, said Russell County sheriff Heath Taylor.
Taylor said the area where the boy was hit by the car have not lights and isn’t clear during night. The car he was hit by was not in fault. Austin was taken to the hospital in Piedmont Columbus where he was pronounced dead because of the injuries.
The Sherriff said the incident took place 2 miles away from their home and the boy’s, mother was not in the car at the moment. They are also looking for the footage of the church where Starr asked the boy to leave the car
