According to Visalia Times-Delta, while Cambria Soto was asleep in her home in Porterville, which is located in a complex of 1000 block of West Tomah Avenue, and all of a sudden the 19-year-old Alex Mendoza was unable to control his truck and crashed into her apartment.
The police says, that Mandoza was driving under the influence of alcohol when he lost control. After the accident, Cambria was airlifted and rushed to the Fresno Community Regional Medical Center where after reaching she was pronounced dead.

Mendoza was immediately arrested on the charges of DUI injury and vehicular manslaughter. The Porterville police say his bail is set on $100,000.
A GoFundMe account for Cambria was set up which reads, “Cambria was loved by so many, had a huge heart, and a beautiful smile that would light up any room.” They further added, “We have started a fund to help out her loved ones she left behind. We want to help alleviate some of the funeral hardship for the family.”
