A female officer of the U.S. Army Force became the second suspect apprehended this week in relation to the murder of an Army captain at Fort Bliss in Texas, reports said.
The officer identified as Clevy Muchette Nelson-Royster was assigned to the 1st Amored Division at Fort Bliss located seven miles away from downtown El Paso.
The 27-year-old officer was reportedly a passenger inside a Jeep Cherokee vehicle which was hers. The vehicle repeatedly rammed another vehicle until the other vehicle tumbled and burst into flames claiming the life of its occupant.
According to Fox 14 of El Paso, the victim was an Army Captain, Malcolm Xavier Perry, 27. “I am going to die”, he had told a 911 dispatch rider while being pursued by the Jeep.
Nelson-Royster, who was being arrested for her involvement in the Army Captain’s death told the authorities that she had been in an unsteady relationship with Perry for five years.
A male suspect identified as Richard Mustapha Sennessie, 23, who drove the Jeep, on Tuesday was arrested after he fled the crime scene, according to an affidavit.
Richard Mustapha Sennessie, according to authorities was being held on suspicion of murder.
A fight has ensued at a strip club house between Perry and Sennessie after Perry had approached Nelson-Royster and Sennessie on their arrival at the party.
The trio went to Perry’s apartment on his consent. Things however went south as a group allegedly assaulted Perry.
Perry who managed to flee the group got caught up by Nelson-Royster and Sennessie as the latter reportedly began using Nelson-Royster’s Jeep to ram Perry’s vehicle.
