“Teen Mom OG” star Amber Portwood was arrested and charged with domestic battery Friday morning in Indianapolis.
The 29-year-old MTV personality is being accused of assaulting her boyfriend Andrew Glennon while he was holding their 1-year-old child, reports Fox 59.
Marion County Officers responded to a disturbance just after 3 a.m. on July 5. Glennon told police that his live-in girlfriend, Portwood, assaulted him while having a disagreement. The statement read:
Just after 3:00 a.m., on 7.5.2019, officers were called to [address] reference a disturbance. Officers spoke to the male victim who stated his live-in-girlfriend and he were having a disagreement. During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood assaulted him, while he was holding their one-year-old child. Officers spoke to Amber Portwood at the scene. She was subsequently arrested for her alleged actions in this incident.
In response to the incident, Portwood was jailed and charged with felony domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16.
The mom is currently in a processing center. Radar Online reports that a clerk at the Initial Hearing Court in Indianapolis told the outlet:
“She’s not done with processing. She’s at intake right now.”
Her mugshot has been released.

The mom of James, 1, and Leah, 10, has always been candid and open about her struggles with bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorders, and addiction on the show.
This isn’t the first time Portwood was arrested for domestic battery.
In 2010, she was arrested and charged with two felony counts of domestic battery, one felony count of neglect of a dependent and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery stemming from a fight with, Gary Shirley, ex-fiancé and father to her 10-year-old daughter.
Not all of the details regarding last night’s alleged assault have been released.
Portwood has yet to issue a statement regarding her arrest.
