Janay Flowers and her 11-month-old daughter, Neveah, were flying home to Dallas when Nevaeh fell ill just 10 minutes before they were scheduled to land.
On April 25, both Flowers and Neveah were sitting on a flight preparing for their landing when Nevaeh woke up and began convulsing.

I would like to thank all of the passengers and flight crew who assisted my baby girl and I aboard #AmericanAirlines Flight 607 from Tampa to DFW on April 25, 2019. Nevaeh is doing well now, but on that flight the scariest moment of my life unfolded before my eyes.
The mom continued:
My precious baby girl had a febrile seizure when we were about 10 minutes out from landing in Dallas. I was traveling alone with Nevaeh and did not have a clue what to do but cry out for help. Two people immediately came to aid my baby and found that she was burning up. They took her onesie off and she was running a serious fever, her toes were blue, and she could barely breath. They called out for any doctors on the plane and about 3-4 additional people came running to help also.
Flowers believes that “God had His hands” on them and thanked all the people who “worked diligently to cool my baby down while she was having a seizure.”
She explained just how many people helped them that day:
One man went to the front of the plane to ensure that the EMS was at the gate as soon as we landed. Another man got an oxygen tank and administered it to Nevaeh. Another man was taking her pulse. As soon as our plane landed, we all rushed to the front of the plane while they grabbed all of my belongings. One man carried my baby, one man kept thumping her foot to make her cry, I sang you are my sunshine and prayed like I never prayed before. It seemed to last forever.
And just as was promised, when the plane doors opened, paramedics were there waiting.
Flowers and Nevaeh were immediately transported to the nearest emergency room, where a “great” team of nurses and doctors aided the 11-month-old back to health.

My family and I are beyond grateful for all of the care and treatment given to our baby. I am so thankful to God that He put the right people in the right place at the right time! God kept us and worked through those angels who cared for Nevaeh.
In a separate post, Flowers revealed that they were finally able to reunite with the two people who initially rushed to their aid when they needed help on the plane.
As Flowers explained, Tiffany, who is a nurse, and Alvin “saw our story on Fox news, looked me up on Facebook, and added me”:
“I gave them a call and we even FaceTimed with our families.”
According to Yahoo News, the couple was on that plane after attending a medical convention in Tampa. Alvin is a chiropractor.
Tiffany told Yahoo that, at the time, she wasn’t sure if Nevaeh was going to make it:
“Nevaeh’s tongue was rolled back and blocked her airway, so I reached inside her mouth and swept the area with my finger. I thought she was going to die in my arms.”
Thankfully, their efforts were enough.
Flowers concluded that “they saved our baby’s life,” and the pair is expected to attend the baby girl’s first birthday party next month.
