However, as the three were driving they spotted the man’s girlfriend in another car.
The woman told police she was on her way to pick up her paycheck from work when Andrillon-Torres cut her off with his Hyundai Elantra. Records show that Andrillon and Vega-Lopez then got out of the vehicle and pulled the woman by her hair into the back seat.
The trio took her to the Magnuson Hotel, where Andrillon-Torres took her phone. The father called the woman’s boyfriend with an ultimatum. The man could either pay Andrillon back or they would hurt his girlfriend.
Andrillon-Torres gave the woman’s boyfriend a time and place to bring the money and instructed him not to call the police. However, the man would do the exact opposite.
When Andrillon-Torres and his son arrived to the meeting place they were arrested by law enforcement. Deputies discovered Vega-Lopez still in the hotel with the woman, who was unharmed.
The trio have each been charged with kidnapping, battery, and false imprisonment.
