RED BLUFF, Calif. — A Red Bluff woman is held on $1 million bail after she was arrested for the continuous sexual assault of a 5-year old girl.
Red Bluff police arrested 27-year-old Rachel Campbell Wednesday morning after a disturbance at her home on Scottsdale Way.
While investigating, officers said they learned Campbell had been sexually assaulting the 5-year old girl. During the investigation, officers found evidence of continued sexual assault of a minor.
Campbell was booked into Tehama County Jail for several charges including possession of child pornography, child endangerment, sexual battery, and continued sexual assault of a child.Red Bluff Police issued a news release identifying the suspect as Rachel Campbell. On the jail website, she is listed as Rachel Holt. The sheriff’s department told KRCR News Channel 7 that she goes by the last name Campbell but her legal last name is Holt.
