EL PASO, Texas — The City of El Paso Department of Public Health (DPH) announces the availability of vasectomy services for men seeking an affordable, safe and effective permanent contraceptive method for preventing unintended pregnancies.
High-quality contraceptive care is a critical component of services offered by the DPH’s CommUnity Care Center, located at 5115 El Paso Drive.
Vasectomy Services are made possible by the U.S. Health and Human Services/ Office of Population Affairs and are part of the Comprehensive Title X Family Planning and Sexual Health services for the community.
Family Planning services are provider-informed/client-centered and designed for individuals (all genders and pronouns) of reproductive age and those seeking family planning and education.
The DPH accepts cash, checks and major credit cards for services rendered based on the patient’s individual care plan. Medicaid and some private insurances are accepted. Clients with a household income at or below 250 percent of the current Federal Poverty Level may apply for a discount. Services will not be denied based on an individual’s inability to pay.
Individuals must bring a valid form of identification when seeking vasectomy services. These services include an initial evaluation and determination if the client is a candidate for the procedure. All services are strictly confidential.
