On Sunday evening, a busy Manhattan subway station witnessed the shooting of a man in the neck. According to reports, the alleged shooting had occurred somewhere around 5:54 PM, inside the subway station at 7th Avenue and 14th Street. The cops were contacted who arrived at the scene quickly and reported that the victim had received medical attention from Lenox Hill HealthPlex which is the nearest.
The condition of the victim is stable as the injuries inflicted are not too serious. The police have not divulged any further details, but reportedly the investigation is ongoing. The subway station was temporarily closed as the police searched the perimeter for the assailant, but in vain. The subway station has been reopened for public use once again.
