Man charged with murder after argument with victim led to shooting in North Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) — Police have announced an arrest made in a North Baltimore homicide that occurred a week ago.

On September 10, at approximately 6:46 P.M., officers responded to the 1000 block of Beaumont Avenue for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died on September 12, 2020.

On September 17, members of WATF & US Marshals Taskforce arrested 28-year-old Donnell Johnson of Baltimore.

Johnson was arrested for killing 27-year-old Kenneth Bivens after a verbal dispute.

Detectives transported Donnell Johnson to Central Booking Intake facility where he has been charged with 1st degree Murder.
