A 90’s hit TV show Home Improvement actor is arrested for choking his girlfriend, according to the Fox News reports.
The 39-years-old Zachery Ty Bryan was taken under custody on Friday, in Eugene Oregon. He is facing the charges for 4th degree assault, interfering with report making and strangulation.
Bryan was reported by his neighbour after a rough confrontation in the appartment complex. On Friday, around 10:24 p.m. the police officers arrested Bryan while he was sitting outside says the E! Online.
The victim informed the police that Bryan got angry and then choked her, according to the Oregonian report. When the victim tried to call 911 Bryan took her phone away. Later on, the woman escaped to her friend nearby.
On Saturday, around 1 a.m. Bryan was booked in the Lake County jail. The 27-years-old victim denied any medical attention.
Bryan made an announcement during early October that he and his wife Carly Matros were about to separate.
On October 1, Bryan posted, “Almost fourteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents. It has been an incredible journey, but together, we’ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage.”
He further added, “As we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority. We understand this news lends itself to public dialogue, but in the interest of our children and our family, we’re asking for privacy, compassion and love during this time. Thank you.”
Bryan played Brad on the show of ABC that aired during 1991-1999. He also appeared in several production after he stopped appearing in the shows, such as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
