A Brooklyn woman was tied up in her apartment, sexually assaulted and robbed of her cellphone and money in a horrifying home invasion, police said.
The suspect in the brutal Thursday afternoon attack in Marine Park is still being sought, but police released surveillance video of him Friday and a picture of the getaway SUV.
Police said he followed the 47-year-old victim into her building near Avenue N and E. 33rd St. around 12:40 p.m.
When the woman got to her apartment, the suspect simulated having a gun then forced his way inside and used duct tape and zip ties to restrain her, cops said.
He then sexually assaulted her before swiping her cell phone and money. He drove off west down Kings Highway in a gray 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander, police said.
The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital in stable condition.
Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned adult, last seen wearing all black and dark-colored jeans with light-colored knee pads.
