A 17-year-old boy has been knifed to death in London, becoming the sixteenth teenager to be murdered in the capital this year.
Police officers found the lad in Harrow at 3.30pm today and tried in vain to save the lad’s life, but to no avail.
The boy, who police said is believed to be aged 17, suffered “fatal stab injuries” and was found in Northwick Park in the Greater London, north east borough.
His family has been told of the terrible news.
No arrests have yet been made and police urged people to come forward with information.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “A teenager has died after he suffered fatal stab injuries in Harrow.
“Police were called at 15:50hrs on Thursday, 11 November to Northwick Park, Harrow, following reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended and found a male, believed to be aged 17, suffering stab injuries.
“He was given first aid at the scene by officers prior to the arrival of LAS.
“Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at 16:31hrs.
“Next of kin have been informed.
“There have been no arrests made at this time.
“A crime scene is in place and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
