A 6-year-old Texas girl allegedly died at the hands of her cousin, who is facing a murder charge in connection with her death, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. The victim, Isabella Courtney, was found “severely injured” Wednesday evening outside her home in River Oaks, a suburb of Fort Worth, according to WBAP. Police responded to a call shortly after 7:30 p.m. and provided aid until paramedics arrived. Courtney died around 8:30 p.m. at Cook Children’s Medical Center, the newspaper reports. Police in an Ohio suburb are investigating reports that a high school football player was attacked by teammates in the locker. Genoa Township police said the victim reported he was knocked to the floor and kicked by several players — and that one player “assaulted him in a sexual manner” during the attack. A Long Island man was indicted this week on charges that he raped a tortured a woman he met for a date. Yossef Kahlon, 55, was arrested on Thursday for the incident, which took place in January. The indictment says that the victim met Kahlon at his home and consented to be bound for a sexual encounter, the New York Post reported. An Indiana college student died on Thursday, four days after he was reportedly wounded in a drive-by shooting in Maryland. Alexander Korman’s mother announced his death in a Facebook post. On Saturday, police responded to reports of a shooting and found Korman, 20, inside a car suffering from gunshot wounds.
