El Paso Expands Testing

El Paso, Texas – Because of the increase in COVID numbers in our region, the City of El Paso is expanding testing sites for individuals wishing to be tested for Coronavirus.

To be tested you must have at least one of the following symptoms. Testing is by registration only. The locations are drive-thru and by appointment only. Citizens are asked to make an appointment 24 hours prior to the testing date either online at WWW.TXCOVIDTEST.ORG or by calling 512-883-2400.

Symptoms that may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat

If you develop any of these for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately:

  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face
