NOTICE AND AGENDA OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING Friday, March 20, 2020 at 12:00 PM.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of San Elizario, Texas will hold a Special Meeting on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 12pm at San Elizario City Council Chambers, 12004 Socorro Rd. San Elizario, Texas at which time the following items will be discussed, to wit:
1. Roll Call
a. Pledge of Allegiance
b. Establishment of Quorum
c. Excuse absent Council members
2. Public Comment
The City Council welcomes public comments to topics not listed on the agenda. This segment is limited to thirty (30) minutes to the first ten (10) speakers. Speakers must sign in to speak before the start of the council meeting and shall limit their comments to three (3) minutes. The City Council cannot respond to matters not listed on the agenda until placed on a future agenda.
3. Discussion and Action: Approve an Ordinance to renew and extend the declaration of local disaster due to public health emergency and in response to pandemic COVID-19 (Coronavirus) signed by the Mayor on March 16, 2020.

The City Council reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of the meeting to discuss any matters listed above as authorized by the Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations) 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 551.086 (Economic Development).
